Hello, I am Shabba Blue Rose.
I am a half French, half Spanish burlesque performer and one of the original Blue Rose Ibiza dancers. I have been performing since 1996 and have traveled all around the world for my work, collaborating with inspiring artists and unforgettable creatives. After many years on stage, I chose to settle in Cologne, Germany in 2007, where I now share my experience with upcoming artists as well as everyday “girls next door,” helping them grow in confidence and rise to the next level.

My artistic roots began in 1996 as one of the “SugaBabes,” a group of bold, oversized go-go dancers known for drag make-up and baby doll outfits. My drag mother, Ruby, a stunning chocolate doll from Paris, taught me the foundations of make-up, stage presence, and the little tricks that only life on stage can teach.

In 2000, I discovered burlesque and pole dancing at the legendary Blue Rose Club in Ibiza. I instantly fell in love with both the art form and the island itself. This passion carried me across the globe as a performer and eventually led me to open the first pole, aerial, and burlesque school in Germany in 2007, Cologne Pole Fitness.

Over the years, I developed my own specialties in burlesque and pole dancing, alongside additional skills in fire shows, acting, make-up, costume design, and model coaching. I also built a strong network of talented friends and collaborators, many of whom now teach alongside me in the studio or in their own spaces.

In 2010, missing my island home, I began organizing pole and sensual camps in Ibiza every spring, creating immersive experiences that combine training, community, and celebration, Ibiza Pole Camp.
In 2019, I opened a trans-focused studio The House of Blue Rose in Cologne to support some of my dance students during their transition. What started as a small initiative has grown into a close-knit community, and our chosen family continues to grow.

And now, this year for the first time, in collaboration with Naomi and Trashy Gorgeous, we are opening the very first edition of Ibiza Drag Camp. Together, we support fresh artists of all ages in developing their own drag talent through workshops, tips, and shared experiences, perfectly balanced between beach time and Ibiza nightlife..
